Working With Jomar Hilario

By Geove Racia

Working with  a person you actually do not meet in person, no face to face conversation is stiff. It requires a lot of communication for you to understand the work he/she want you to do. But the most difficult on this situation is that when you have communication barrier and you perceive your task opposite on what the clients want you to understand.

I have experience working with different clients with different culture with also different personality and I myself
could prove that it is hard to deal with people with other culture but the bottom line is, it still depend on the person's personality but whatever they behave and act on work the most important thing is that you finished your work and make the client satisfied with the job.

One of our longest client handled is a Filipino client, Jomar Hilario. He is involved in internet marketing and makes money on it, train individuals and share his knowledge regarding how to make money on the internet. He is also a God fearing person. He is involved with religious events and advertise it through the internet to also inform others to have a moment with God and to have fellowship to our brothers and sisters in Christ. With a vast knowledge on the internet and skills on this industry, he is a successful internet marketer and had establish many seminars which he shared his secrets and techniques on how to make it on this industry.

My experience with him as a VA is worth keeping. He has imparted his knowledge to us with social networking, online promotion and a whole lot more. Despite my being inexperienced, he never hesitated to teach me and also adviced me that these things are essential to the industry that I have
chosen and that I should know this and be familiar of this. I really admire him for such generosity of teaching me things and also helping me to develop my knowledge about these things.

He has helped me improve my powerpoint presentation skills as well.  I did learn to make a powerpoint presentation with his supervision. He guides me on correcting my mistakes and gives advices after that. He definitely appreciates whenever I did the job correctly. He is patient with me regarding my task if something went wrong with the work he just tell me what is suppose to be done on a particular task. Many times I got his instruction wrong and I also accepted that I am in fault but he still trust me to do the task. NOW I know these things already - and I'm confident that Im good with it all because of him.

As his Virtual Assistant I have learned a lot from him, he is patient whenever there are task i don't understand that he want me to do. He also taught me things that were really essential to the industry I have chosen. I really thank you Sir Jomar Hilario I am really grateful to have work with you.

The Folly of Worry

Posted by Ilyn Reyes on 9:48 AM in , , ,
Matthew 6:25 --- " Therefore I say to you , do not worry about your life."

As Christians, we have no need to worry. Yet it's one of those things we are all guilty of doing. We often become concerned over matters that should not trouble us. There are two things we should never to worry about. First, we must not be anxious about things we can't control. Turning them over to the Lord in prayer, we should leave them in His hands. Second, we should never worry about things we can control. We are to stop our worrying and start doing something about them.

There's a missionary gave this excellent advice: " Let us give up our words, our plans, ourselves, our lives, our loved ones, our influence, our all, right into God's hand; and then, when we have given all over to Him, there will be nothing left for us to be troubled about."

We should avoid worry, not because of the distress it brings to us but above all because it displeases the Lord. for the child of God, to worry is to doubt the heavenly Father --- and that's an insult to Him. He merits our confidence.

Placing our trust firmly in God and His promises will help us avoid the folly of worry.
The Bible gives a remedy.
By which we can be worry-free:
It's simply this: Trust God and pray,
Then watch the worries fade away.

"When we worry, we believe more in our problems than in God's promises."

God bless everyone

Christmas Spirit

Posted by Ilyn Reyes on 10:13 AM in , , , ,
Philippians 2:5 -- "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus".

How would you define "the Christmas spirit"? Would it be a friendly smile between strangers, the sound of familiar carols, a tree with twinkling lights in sea of brightly wrapped packages, or just that good feeling you get this time of the year?

None of these elements capture the real meaning of the phrase. They represent feeling that maybe a response to the commercialism that distorts the real spirit of Christmas.

For me, CHRISTmas is a very joyous excitement if we only focused our attention on the event we celebrate, rather than on the celebration of the event. It is JESUS birth we are honoring and celebrating, and that always makes for a good Christmas. So, let celebrate Christmas not only on the month of December but let's celebrate it everyday. And let the Spirit of Christmas always be seen in all our living.

In Philippians 2, Paul described the God of heaven and earth as laying aside His divine glory and becoming our servant by dying on the cross for our sins. Then he urged us to duplicate that same mind of humble service . That's the true Christmas Spirit.

Have a blessed Christmas everyone!..

Making a Quiet Time

Posted by Ilyn Reyes on 7:26 AM in , , , , ,

Matthew 14:23 -- " And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on a mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there."

There is something to be said for quiet time. We live in a time where we are constantly on the move. There is always something or someone demanding our time and talents. There is this feeling of urgency eating away at the time we've set aside to rest. Between our work and schedules, outside activities, church and heaven forbid, should we forget television time, there just is not enough hours in a day.

After a while, we find ourselves less focused and the quality of the activity we perform slips. This is just another way Satan pulls us into his snare. He so self-involves us that we lose track of things. Our body tires, our mind muddles, and illness sets in. I know, I've been there. Wether we fill our time with outside activities or church related activities, there is a limit to what we can physically do. Once our bodies reach that limit, we go into shut-down.

Even if our activities are good ones - ones that involve the church, the reality of the matter is, we are only human, and we can each only do so much before we wear out. Finding a quiet time to study the Word, even if its only five minutes at a time, refreshes our hearts. It keeps us in touch with the Father.

More so, seeking those constant moments of silence so that we are able to focus GOD-ears on what the Lord is saying. He whispers to us for a reason. He wants us to listen "intently" for His guidance. Find That quiet time and earmark it daily so that good quality time is spent in a good relationship with the Lord. Remember shhhhh. Just be quite for a moment - rest, meditate, and pray. You will be amazed at how it revives the soul.

GOD bless everyone.

We need to be in Church

Psalm 95:6 "Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker."

If God is truly our God, as we proclaim, then worship should be a vital part of our lives. As His people and His children, we should always be ready to bow before Him and exalt His name. And one of the best places to do this is in His house with His people.

If we are not actively involved in fellowship and worship at church, our spiritual life tends to die. We grow cold. One week without going in church to praise and worship God feels us weak, if truly we are Christians in heart and in mind.

"Skipping church could be the beginning of spiritual decline."

I am blessed with my 3 years old son, he's always with me every time i go to church to attend worship and other church activities, he's also participating.

GOD bless everyone.

Universal Verse

Posted by Ilyn Reyes on 7:18 AM in , , , ,

We know all this verse. It tells the One who loved us with an everlasting love. He suffered and died just for us.

This verse found in the book of John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".
