My Experience as an Epvirtual Assistant
by: Lorraine Kim
My first day was the toughest day of all,for many negative reasons like I always think for worthless and never for the good one,but as the day goes on I found out that I am enjoying in this job,and I love the people in this group. There are times that I don't know what to do with the article that I am working on but there's a good office mates that will lend their help to you and never snub you,and I am so thankful for that.
It is a big opportunity that I am given a chance to work as a VA ,and to handle this kind of job.For me it is a big step for a good tomorrow, the experience that I will absorb or get in this field will help more to my future career.

"My Experience As An epVirtual Assistant"
We can do it Graveyarder's Team...
I have learned a lot from this job like expanding my computer skills, do different kind of tasks from different sites, also I'm familiarize with all the in's and out's in this job and of course different people i've meet..Also, I found out that I should have patience,.but frankly speaking i don't practice to be more patient. But i tried...
I'm proud that I'm the 1st VA of epVirtual Assistants.

Experience As A Virtual Assistant

As a first timer on this field I thought its just an easy thing and will not make my brain explode...My first week I have to adjust, my schedule 4am to 12nn and I had a hard time to wake up as early as 4am (sleepAdik) and that time I have other responsibilities to work out, I'm a Cashier/Manager at a videoke bar owned by my buddy, and right after my duty which ends at 12 noon, I have 4 hours to sleep at 5pm will go to videoke bar until 1am or 2am Hmmm...very hard to do 2 jobs 24 hours a day, well financially speaking, its good but my body and brain can't take it anymore so I have to give-up my cashier job and give enough time to concentrate being a virtual assistant.
And as time goes by the task are getting harder and harder, but i like to do things in the first time i just tell my self that it will be a new things to learn that will add to my skills. as for now well i have to be prepare anytime, cause every day is a new day for us VA's

VA Tool: Basecamp

Yes, it is at the top! Use basecamp if you are searching for an online project management tool that is very easy to learn, record time, allows you to store files, and can be used to communicate with your clients.
Interface
The interface of Basecamp is very simple and clean, even when you have dozens of projects, each with information, files, updates and etc.
Time Tracking and Recording
Basecamp allows you to record the time. You can track time for everything and anything, Basecamp's open nature allows you to easily do this. Evrything is recorded. You can add later if you forget to add time, or change down the road because it is editable.
Collaboration
You can give your client an account and allow them to access to any number of projects. Incridebly easy interface for clients and development team! Send message through the simple messaging interface and everything is recorded. The addition of reply via email was a more recent that kicked up the collaboration factor. It eliminates need for client to login when using the system.
Plus, for any private message, you can make sure that you and your team can see the message.
Yuo can also attached a file!
To do's and Tasks
Assigning tasks to people in your organization or company is one of the most important parts of any project management system. Basecamp do well at this in the simplest possible way. You can create to do list, track time per list and specific task, and your team can exchange information back to you via comments on each task.

My Escapades As A Virtual Assistant
By: Imee P.Fulgencio
The word virtual assistant (va) is new to me when I'm not yet involved here in this work. I got a lot of ? marks in my head but it all vanished as I started as a trainee to be virtual assistant.
It gives a lot of learning experiences to me through trainings, team activities and attend some online workshops. As time pass by, I found myself pretty enough creating and exploring new things.
Being a virtual assistants is not an easy job. Why? I have gone through all these stuff. First, adjustment from my co teams (new acquaintances) 2nd, my time schedule (shifting), 3rd, I must be computer addict/savvy (whew, really i am?) 4th, how to cope up pressure for deadline tasks of our clients, and the last I must be open for all the newbies or flexible enough, ready to face new challenges, willing to learn and be consistent.
For now, I am glad and proud being a Virtual Assistant. Not because I am earning but, because I am enjoying my work. I love helping and be of service to busy people that can't organized even their personal emails. I meet new friends (worldwide) through online, updated with all the news and love to communicate by means of chat, plurk, facebook, etc.
To all VA's, I would like to say I am happy to be one!
